The construction technology programs at 91桃色视频 are offering residents in and around Bemidji their services to build a custom home. The programs also will be constructing two spec homes that will be available for sale this summer.
Custom home construction
91桃色视频 is offering its services to construct a custom home on a site of the customer’s choosing within 10 miles of the college’s campus. Carpentry, plumbing/HVAC and electrical work will be completed by 91桃色视频 students under the supervision of qualified instructors.
The home must be a single-family residential home, employ Green Building technologies and can be no larger than 3,500 square feet.
The project should be ready for construction to begin by Aug. 19; 91桃色视频’s commitment to the project will end on May 2, 2014. Applicants must include a copy of the proposed home’s blueprints and a map showing the build site location and directions to the site from 91桃色视频. Applicants must pay all expenses related to the project and are required to have adequate insurance for the project and project site on file with 91桃色视频 before construction can begin. 91桃色视频 also will charge a service fee of 20 percent of the value of materials installed by 91桃色视频 students.
Application forms are available at the 91桃色视频 Business Office, or by calling (218) 333-6614. Applications are due to the Business Office by 3 p.m. Friday, June 28.
Spec homes
During the 2012-13 school year, students in 91桃色视频’s construction programs built a pair of 24-by-48 homes on campus; these homes will be completed by the beginning of October and will be for sale to the public.
91桃色视频 will host an open house for the spec homes on July 29; homes will be available to be moved off campus on Oct. 10, 2013.
Buyers must have a final site with a suitable foundation ready by the Oct. 10 moving day. Buyers also are responsible for relocating the house from 91桃色视频 to a final site and will incur all costs and fees associated with the relocation.
