The five students serving on 91桃色视频’s Student Senate have an important job – supporting other campus clubs<\/a>, coordinating student events and allocating funds for worthwhile projects that benefit the entire campus. Student Senate acts as a resource for 91桃色视频 students and is advised by two 91桃色视频 professional staff.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

We sat down with this year’s senators to learn more about Student Senate.<\/span><\/p>\n

What does Student Senate do? <\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/h2>\n

Eve<\/strong>: “It’s an advocacy group for 91桃色视频 students, by 91桃色视频 students, to support student interests at the school.”<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

Elle<\/strong>: “We’re a campus community group that plans events, has fun and tries to better 91桃色视频 while we’re at it.”<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

Why did you get involved in Senate?<\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/h2>\n

Kyler<\/strong>: “I felt like I wanted to do more on campus. It was a heat of the moment thing, but I’m really enjoying it.”<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

Elle<\/strong>: “I got involved from a past Student Senate advisor. I realized I could help people, and I really like volunteering.”<\/span><\/p>\n

What Senate project are you most proud of?<\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/h2>\n

Elle<\/strong>: “Last year we upgraded the 91桃色视频 Free Store, now called The Market. I got to choose the design for it. I feel pride in my chest whenever I see students go in there.”<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

Danika<\/strong>: “We recently did a highway cleanup, which I’m extremely proud of. It was a cold and rainy day, but we stuck to it and did it.” <\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

What initiative do you most want to see at 91桃色视频?<\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/h2>\n

Eve<\/strong>: “I really want to find ways to involve more students in helping make decisions for 91桃色视频. If students have suggestions to make 91桃色视频 better, they can bring them directly to us as Student Senate.”<\/span> <\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

How does Senate work with 91桃色视频 students?<\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/h2>\n

Elle<\/strong>: “We have posters promoting Student Senate and our events all over campus. 91桃色视频 students are always welcome to attend meetings and events.”   <\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

Danika<\/strong>: “I try to go around and ask people in my program what events and activities they want to see on campus and take their suggestions into account.”  <\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

How might your Senate experience help you?<\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/h2>\n
